Project Overview:

Seed At The Table is offering a unique internship opportunity for driven and motivated individuals who are passionate about finance, technology, marketing, and venture capital. As an intern, you will play an integral role in our tech-enabled Financial Ecosystem, which is committed to providing equitable access to capital, opportunity, and resources for diverse professionals and entrepreneurs. Seed At The Table leverages matching technology and operates as an LLC, offering access to a resource-rich network, capital, and financial literacy education. Additionally, our LLC holds a rare FINRA/SEC equity crowdfunding license, allowing us to serve as a legal platform for equity crowdfunding.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Entrepreneurs: Conduct interviews and discussions with entrepreneurs to understand their needs and challenges in accessing capital and resources.
  • Capital Raise Support: Assist companies in preparing for capital raise activities, helping them with pitch materials, financial modeling, and investor outreach.
  • Regulatory Interaction: Interface with federal financial services regulators to ensure compliance and maintain a legal and regulatory framework.
  • Tech Coordination: Collaborate with web development teams and programmers to enhance our tech platform and user experience.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth industry research to identify market trends, opportunities, and potential strategic partnerships.
  • Capital Raise Execution: Participate in the execution of capital raise activities, targeting multiple customer segments and contributing to successful fundraising efforts.
  • Financial Product Development: Learn and contribute to the structuring of financial products that benefit our community.
  • Investor Education: Contribute to the development and enhancement of an investor education packet/program.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a dynamic startup environment.
  • Commitment of 10-20 hours per week for a minimum of one month (4 weeks).

Schedule is M-F 10a-2pm EST or 12pm-4pm EST
